Safety and Security
As parents ourselves, this is a big one for us;
one we are very serious about and one we are very proud of. We have honestly spared no expense on the security at Cowboys & Angels and we feel we have created an ultra-safe environment in which to leave your loved one(s).

We have installed a digital video security system with sixteen cameras covering both the inside and outside of Cowboys & Angels. With both full colour and low light capability, nothing will be missed. This system means that if a parent is concerned over anything, the manager will be able to check it. This procedure also protects our team from any misunderstandings and gives parents total peace of mind.

Entry to Cowboys & Angels is with an electronic security fob. You will be issued with two of these when you confirm a place with us. Each fob has its own electronic tag which means we can tell which fob has opened what door and when. Also, each individual fob is given its own level of access, so not every fob will open all the doors.

The building itself has two main staircases which allow for a high flow of people exiting the premises should the unthinkable happen. We have smoke detection throughout the building as well as panic alarms. Both are covered by a monitored 24/7 red care system.

One other aspect of safety is the ratio of care workers to children. This is strictly governed by Ofsted, but in keeping with our attitude, we are staffing well beyond Ofsted’s minimum requirements to ensure the best possible levels of attention and care.

From a health aspect, we have invested in anti-slip antibacterially impregnated floors. We have done away with potentially mite-harbouring carpets, but we retain a homely feel with rugs which can be washed regularly.

As parents ourselves, we know how worrying it can be leaving your children with others and so we have gone way above the requirements of Ofsted, to the point where we feel happy that there is little more we could reasonably do to assure the safety of our children.
