Mathematics
This area of learning incorporates counting, sorting, matching, seeking patterns and working with numbers, shapes, spaces and measures. Mathematical understanding is developed using all areas in the Pre-School environment including stories, rhymes, songs and games, along with imaginative play, drama and outdoor provision so that children enjoy using and experimenting with numbers. Opportunities are provided for children to select their own equipment, materials and resources.
Cowboys & Angels Play-Learning
The activities we pursue account for the diverse needs of the children in our care, including rest time and quiet, splashing water, play with sand through to talking, singing, working in groups, pairs or individually and leaving then returning to unfinished activities. In this way we create an environment that is truly child focussed allowing children to steer the choice of resources and equipment through the day.

to provide stimulating activities addressing the six areas of learning.
