Creative Dev.
Creativity is fundamental to successful learning. The aspects covered in this area of learning include art, music, dance, role-play and imaginative play. Being creative enables children to make connections between one area of learning and another and so extend their understanding. A rich environment is provided in which creativity and expressiveness is valued. It includes a range of activities, which use a variety of senses and allows sufficient time to explore, develop ideas, it values the need for time to finish, extend and/or work on the individual’s and the group’s ideas. Work is focussed on these important processes. Opportunities are provided for children to select their own equipment, materials and resources.

Cowboys & Angels Play-Learning
The activities we pursue account for the diverse needs of the children in our care, including rest time and quiet, splashing water, play with sand through to talking, singing, working in groups, pairs or individually and leaving then returning to unfinished activities. In this way we create an environment that is truly child focussed allowing children to steer the choice of resources and equipment through the day.

Our educational specialist has planned a comprehensive topic-based programme
to provide stimulating activities addressing the six areas of learning.
