Childcare Voucher Scheme - Saves you money.
Instead of paying for your nursery fees out of your normal income, this special tax scheme lets you pay from your pre-tax income. the impact of which is HUGE.
How the vouchers Work
For every £1000 you earn as a basic rate tax payer you'll only actually receive a shade under £700 in your pay packet after tax and national insurance.
But if, instead of giving you a £1000 your employer offers you £1000 of childcare vouchers you get the FULL £1000 instead of the £700. Meaning you are £300 better of per £1000 of childcare.
How much will you save?
You can get up to £243 of vouchers a month, per parent. So, if both parents are in work this doubles to £486 per month.
The good news for your employer!
This will actually save them money by lowering there national insurance bill.
